I'm cross-posting this event in case there's anybody interested who hasn't heard about it. The event is free and you can bring anything you want to measure with a high-quality meter. Here are the details:

This is run by the guys from NFATalk. I think they have several B&K 2209 meters.

They do these events periodically at various locations, you can find videos on YouTube from past events at this location.

I am local, don't look like I will get to make it, I forgot about this event, bummer, seems it would be a cool event to attend.
I also notice, it is super hot today, 91+ with humidity = at least 800degF !

Now back to the laundry, sigh...

I was there for a couple hours around noon. A lot of very cool and expensive toys were on display! I think the sound metering was almost the side show, the full auto stuff was the main attraction! It was fun, not a lot of people there so it was easy to look and talk about stuff. I'm not sure how many setups were metered but we should see the data soon.

I'll do a write-up regarding my OSS Gen 4 soon.
