ast, the problem is with the MARS rail and you are not the only one to have that issue running a clip on with the MARS rails. I would look at having an NVG mount inletted into your stock if the is enough material on your stock to do so. Where are you located?
I have (4) SureFire suppressors in 5.56 and (2) in 7.62, the oldest cans I have are 6 years old and function like the day I got them. I have also personally shot a SureFire suppressor that had over 200,000 rounds through it. I could not discern any difference in both sound attenuation or...
I think it is going to depend on where in AZ you move to? AZ does have a lower unemployment rate than the national average, but jobs are going to be concentrated in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. Arizona Public Service and Salt River Project are the two main power companies but there is also...
I just purchased my first GA Precision rifle (The Gladious) and received it Friday night. In the paperwork with the rifle I received very specific instructions for breaking in the barrel, which included cleaning between rounds at various intervals. I don't want to start a whole new discussion on...
I would agree with Delta4-3, but add that I have known many who have complained about the quality and durability of the LDI units, where I have never experienced and had guys complain about the PEQ-15's.
Oh happy day! I just placed an order for my 1st GAP Rifle, the Gladius! I have a Remington 700 SPS I bought earlier this summer that did not shoot up to what I was looking for. I thought about having the action trued, installing a new barrel and having the stock bedded. Though I could have done...
I don't have to worry about attaching comms to my helmet, but I do run a SureFire helmet light using the Tango Down adapter and a SureFire M1 on the opposite side angled upwards for IR illumination inside a structure without blinding everyone else.
Hey Victor, you may be right. Like many companies, SureFire teases us with concept products that never materialize into actual units for commercial availability. Honestly I really love the original M1 and it is still a very capable IR illuminator. I guess I'll find our when they send me my samples?
Killswitch, this is a smaller, lower profile head than the older V-Series heads. All of the new V-series weapon lights have this new head allowing then to mount flush to the quad rail, versus having to extend beyond the quad rail. Also there are multiple outputs and there is also (Most likely -...
SureFire is re-doing the M1 as well. I evaluated 5 different variations of potential replacements in June while in Texas with some of the SF crew. They wanted input to narrow it down to 2 or 3 final versions. Not sure when they will be commercially available?
That is the kind of bull that dreams are made of! A monster in any state and ever better for Montana! Congratulations on the bull of a life time, I was 0 for 5 on drawing tags this year, but there is always hope of chasing bugling bulls with my stick and string again next year. Truly a beautiful...
