    Re: 18" .243 WSSM...go or no-go? The powder issue can be solved with a faster burning powder. But with the 6.5 SAUM...I don't know whether I would want to have as short of a barrel. If I went 6.5...I don't think I'd use the WSSM case.

    I ha,ve WSM action laying around. I was gonna build a 6.5 WSM off of but money got tight so I put off the build. Now that I have the funds I'm not sure I wanna go that route, I'd rather have a long action for it. Now the SBR thread has me thinking. So what velocities could I expect from an 18"...

    Re: Winchester Model 88 It is pre '64 serial # has been verified and does have the hand checkered stock. I don't plan on ever letting this baby go. I just want the lock up and timing to be smooth as silk.

    I just picked up this lever gun off my uncle after years of asking. Its in .308. Are their any gunsmiths that work on them? I would like it accurized and smoothed up maybe some trigger work. I know this is a shot in the dark but is there anyway to get an AR-10 mag to work in these?

    Re: Best Small Distillery Bourbon I don't know about the high end stuff...but there ain't never a time that I don't have a bottle of Buffalo Trace and Knob Creek in the house. I tried Beams new Devil's Cut the other night. One thing is for sure...you can taste the wood in it.
