    AI AW or Sako TRG

Re: AI AW or Sako TRG I have a TRG in 308 and 300WM, and a AWSM .338. I prefer shooting the TRG, with the better trigger, excellent bipod and better feeling ergonomics (for me). However, I thought my TRG locked up tight until I got an AW. That thing is just incomparable. Nothing I have felt...

TRG 300 wm 1-10 barrel twist?

Re: TRG 300 wm 1-10 barrel twist? It should be 1:11" twist. Current .338s come in 1:10" twist for the TRG-42.

    AIAW SM reloading questions

Re: AIAW SM reloading questions Good question OP and something I'm interested in hearing the answer to as well. Im currently doing initial load development so far and had good success on paper at 100 with the 300gr Scenars and H1000. Is the 1:11" twist too slow for 300gr. bullets? I have...

Compact 50-65mm obj. lens spotting scope ideas ?

Re: Compact 50-65mm obj. lens scope suggestions pls ? Oops my apologies. There are many good compact 20-60x spotting scopes, although the smaller 50mm objectives may be a bit difficult to use. I remember Nikon used to make a really small 50mm scope, I think it was called the ED50? It was...

    Broken Sako TRG bipod :-(

Re: Broken Sako TRG bipod :-( I've broken the bipod pin as well after only 900 rounds of 300WM. bm11, don't worry I was taken care of by the folks at Eurooptic and Beretta/Sako in a very efficient manner. FWIW, I've always loaded the bipod and never shot it like a pussy.

Re: POLL: What's Your Preference (Moa or Mil) I prefer MOA/MOA but use MIL/MIL since that's what my group uses.

Rifle Scopes S&B Short Dot locking turret: How to reset to zero

Hey guys, I picked up a S&B Short Dot with the locking turret recently, but without a manual. Can someone help describe how to reset the turrets to zero? I tried to call S&B in VA today without any luck getting through, and didn't find the answer through search or google. Figure there's be...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Ed Brown at Shot Show?

Re: Ed Brown at Shot Show? Same here I got a similar "Don't bother me" tone as I approached their booth in 2011. I noticed all their 1911s were in glass display cases, they didn't want anyone taking pictures of it as well. Their staff seemed a bit rude as well. As I neared their booth in...

    Spotting Scopes Angled or Straight?

Re: Spotting Scopes Angled or Straight? Angled. Aside from using it in multiple positions, it'll sit lower than a straight spotting scope so it's more stable with lower center of gravity.

    TRG42 mag problem

Re: TRG42 mag problem I'm running into a similar issue with my TRG-22. Mine wont strip the next round because the round doesn't fully seat to the magazine lips. The inside of the magazine has been cleaned free of debris, I've checked to see if the spring was oriented correctly, and I even...
