    Gunsmithing PT&G steel bottom metal

    Has anyone had their Remington "factory look alike" steel and aluminum bottom metal? What are your thoughts and are they dimensionally the same as each other? From the picture on their site the trigger bow on the steel version looks a little beefier and shaped differently. Thanks a bunch.

    A plain Jane .243 Win. CDL barreled action that is to accurate as is to rip apart. McMillan compact, Rifle Basix trigger, and PT&G aluminum "Oberndorf" bottom metal. 7lbs 6.2ozs. The 3.5-10X40 VXIII that will probably go in the mail this week for an M1. Lapua brass and 105 A-Max's should be here...
