I have some Tac Con ghillie supplies up for sale in the Accessories section for around half the price of retail, might be worth checking out. Here's the link: http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/options-accessories-sale/200723-diy-ghillie-camo-supples-tactical-concealment.html#post2595972
10.5 for this purpose. Why go longer for under 300yds? It's reliable and accurate for the required range. This length barrel has been extensively proven in combat, plus it meets the minimum requirements for most suppressor warranties. IMHO, no need to go longer for LE.
Re: CCI Standard Velocity ammo test (long post) Excellent review! As stated, there is better 22lr ammo available when going for the tightest groups possible, but you will certainly pay more for the "better" options. I've been using CCI SV as my go-to bulk 22lr ammo for a couple years now. I...
Re: CT elementary school shooting. Just saw this on the news at my gym. It took everything I had to keep dry eyes after seeing the number of children dead. All I could think about was how the parents must be feeling right now. My heart truly goes out to them. I picked up my 6 yr old...
Re: Need advice on mounting my Aimpoint T-1 It's going to be too low. Lot of options for the T1. I really like the absolute co-witness mount from Larue, rugged, but minimalist design. Lock-up is solid and reliable.

Re: Butler Creek "Tactical" Flip Caps Sweet, do they have any plans on producing them in earth tones? That would awesome since krylon doesn't last for shit on their caps.

Re: Vests/Plate carriers This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Gear is purpose driven and without giving us at least a general idea of your loadout, you're not going to get the quality of responses you may be looking for. If you are not looking for ballistic protection, there is zero reason to sport a plate...
Re: Leupold VX-R or Vortex Viper PST?? Can't pick!!!!! Was able to do a side-by-side comparison of the two optics you mentioned early this summer at the range. The Vortex Viper PST 1-4 was mine and a friend had the Leupold VX-R 1.25-4. Up to that point, I liked the glass quality on the...
Re: MOLLE Fastex Buckles I've never seen an option for the male end to have an open slot like the female end. You may have to get creative and cut a slot into the end, but I don't know how strong it will be. I've used slotted 1" metal square rings to attack this problem. Attach the ring...
Re: If you could only have one... I asked myself this question a while back, and as much as I like my G17, a combination of factors led me to decide on one of these beauties as my one-choice side arm: Puts a smile on my face everytime I pull the trigger...
Re: What are the good values in BUIS? I've ran Troy battle flip-ups for a while, but they get beat up just like anything else. Running magpuls on another rig that sees just as much abuse and personally, I think the polymer sites have held up better to wear, plus they are lighter and cost a...
Re: IOR I've had several IOR optics and as mentioned above, the glass quality is remarkable for the price. Reticles were excellent as well. My only complaint would be the weight.
