    Re: Cold Bore I certainly agree with the practice of dry firing a rifle. With that said, my daughters hunting rifle Sako AV with a new 24" shilen select match barrel has the same POI with a clean or fouled bore. My 300RUM with a 28" select match barrel will throw the clean bore shot 2"...

    Re: 700 trigger...Jewell? I have a Jewell installed on a LR hunting rig. At 2.5# is just fine for light gloves. I really don't notice any trigger edge with the recoil of the rifle (257 Wby). I guess whatever trips your trigger

    Re: Geovids or Swaro Range Finder? Unfortunately, I am forced to wear corrective lenses and I found the Swarov LRF needed to centered on my glasses. If positioned off center, the read out was partially missing. Certainly not a deal breaker...since changed to the Leica 1200LRF. My 2 cents
