    Suppressors Suppressor adapter help

Does it matter if the brake for the silencer is timed or can it be offset? Got a yhm suppressor and putting it on a ar-10 308. There is not enough barrel to use the washers to time the adapter. Any ideas? Pics for what I'm talking about. Will only be shooting gun with suppressor on.

I've never had an issue ordering from midway. Looks like the post office is to blame

Sidearms & Scatterguns Why do I always shoot left with my 1911?

Lots of people giving advice on how to shoot. Maybe it's just the ammo. Try different ammo. I have pistols that shoot bullets different. I've seen as much as 2 inches variance at 20 yards. Doing nothing different except changing ammo I have a change in POI. Sometimes left sometimes up or...

    Gunsmithing Brake install by machinist?

I let a guy that owns a machine shop put on a brake that had to be timed to allow port to face up. He did an outstanding job. That is what they do for a living.

    Mosin nagant loose bolt

Just an update. I bought a wolf extra power spring and it helped just a little. That spring is WAY more powerful than stock. I swapped bolts from another nagant and that fixed the problem. Bolt now has sufficient resistance that it will not open up if I don't open it myself. My bolt fit the...

    Mosin nagant loose bolt

I've read multiple posts where guns with stiff bolts people cut off a couple rings on firing pin spring and it helped loosen it up. I don't want to spend money on headspace gauges. The bolt shouldn't be that loose whether there is a round chambered or not.

    Mosin nagant loose bolt

I bought the gun from a dealer. As far as pulling the safety back its very stiff. I will check to see if the trigger is loose after its fired. After its fired is the only time there is any resistance to opening the bolt, but not much. The sear spring is tight. I'm not sure what the problem is. I...

    Mosin nagant loose bolt

My 91/30 bolt is loose to the point when I turn the rifle upside down and bearly shake it the bolt opens. Even does this with a round chambered. After I pull the trigger, it has some tension to it. Every other person complains of heavy bolt lift, but mine is sloppy. Any suggestions on a remedy?

Gunsmithing Wanting to build my first Savage and have question

Re: Wanting to build my first Savage and have question Nothing wrong with a savage at all. That's just his opinion. I have built 2 guns on a savage action. One in 243 and other in 300rum. Both shoot great. One has a shilen barrel and other a McGowan. There are plenty of aftermarket parts...

    Gunsmithing any 1911 gurus?

Re: any 1911 gurus? I assume you are talking about over travel of the trigger. If so, you can get an aftermarket trigger that has a set screw in it to adjust over travel. If your gun takes aftermarket 1911 parts.
