Re: 270 Win Load What I meant was I've loaded most of the popular loads for the gun and it just hasn't shot anything well. The bullet I'm using is the nosler partition. Was going to use this load for elk. Anyone care to suggest another bullet suitable for elk in the 270?

Re: 260 Brass Thanks for letting me know. I don't think the lapua is going to give me too many loadings. And at almost $1 a piece thats expensive.

Re: 1:9 Twist 223 77 grain is as heavy as I can shoot in my SPS tactical, it's got a 1-9 twist. Mine loves the 69 gr sierra using RL 15
