    Re: 270 Win Load What I meant was I've loaded most of the popular loads for the gun and it just hasn't shot anything well. The bullet I'm using is the nosler partition. Was going to use this load for elk. Anyone care to suggest another bullet suitable for elk in the 270?

    I'm thinking about putting a leupold VX III with the varmint reticle on a hunting rifle. Can anyone explain to me how its designed to work. Is there say 2 moa between each line etc. I can't find much information on the reticle, whats your experince been with it.
