Re: Marlin 39a A 1971 39a "new in the box" is worth $400 I say buy it for that if you can........ It would bring more $ on gb for sure. I have been looking around at gun shows and the ones I'm seeing are in the $350- $450 range and are not in good enough conditiom to follow me home.

Re: 10/22 barrel replacement Green Mountain --- Great barrels for the $$$ Accuracy depends on a # of things, but at least 1/2" at 50 yards is what I expect from a GM bbl.

Re: 10/22 any sugestions?? +2 on RimfireCentral. Great site. Loads of information on 10/22's. There are many ways to go on a 10/22 build as there are a ton of aftermarket parts available. Here are my two SuperStock builds. One with a re-worked factory barrel the other with a GM 17" Heavy Taper.

Re: Remington 700 LTR .308 Thanks guys for all the comments. Not sure how much I will hunt with it. I'm new to the centerfire game and thought this LTR would be a great gun to start with.

New guy here. I have my eye on a Remington 700 LTR .308 20" fluted barrel. Just wondereing what kind of accuracy is expected with these right out of the box?

Re: Barely used rimfire build I have the Mueller APV and Mueller 8.5-25 Tactical. Both are very good scopes with great optics.

Re: 10/22 what to do? Send the barrel to nemo over at rimefirecentral.com and have him do his re-work to it. You'll be amazed at the results. I have a couple of his re-worked barrels and highly recommend his work. Or find a GM barrel you like..... There are so many aftermarket parts for a...
