Re: 7saum Load data? If you want to try those powders it will be a case of a long drop tube and fit as much as you can....but it still shouldn't be hot (unless you can squeeze near 70gr in)....too slow for that pill....good for 180's apparently (not tryed them)

Re: 7saum Load data? Does it have the capacity for retumbo?? Not done a lot of work yet with to many powders but I use 59gr of RL17 and 61 of RL22 from memory (will check later)...Not that much room in the case with those faster powders 3000fps in a 24" tube with the 17, got up to 3150fps...

Re: Help, neck sizing ruined my pet load! did you adjust the scope in between loads...is it a good tracking scope.....just another option as I have had cheaper ones move with each shot until it settles yip and try neck tension....measure the neck size pre seating a projectile in a FL sized...

Re: 300RUM info With the 208 amax I used 92.5gr of retumbo for my best load and 60 thou off the lands 91.2 of H1000 both around 3100 fps, did get faster with more but the groups opened in my rifle basicly the same load as I used for the 220 SMK and still over 3K Factory Sendero but rum...

Re: .308 brass--which brand do you prefer? I have some Hornady match brass....Ordered Nosler custom and that was what turned up.....Not nearly as good as Lapua or nosler custom (Norma) as the weights are not as close....works OK but not happy with it.....should have taken it back but no-one...

Re: 7mm WSM or 7mm RSAUM I run a 7mmSAUM with a 24" tube and the 162 amax, Have had up to 3150 fps with RL 17 but have backed it of to 3080fps for brass/ barrel life. The Saum is efficent easy feed round and a mates 7mm WSM only has 80fps over it for an extra 2.5gr of the same powder....Or...
