Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking for a good karambit

I'd like to add that if you can fight with one, you'll be the scariest son of a bitch on the block. I've done a little bit of knife training with my Aikido instructors (one is 5th degree in Arnis, and the other is big into pressure points), and I find karambits to be by far the most...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Looking for a good karambit

I carry an Emerson a few days a week. I paid about $230 for it, but it was an unopened 2004 model. Number 0239 for people who find that kind of thing interesting.

These guys live about 10 minutes from my place. They've got a great big banner with 1puglife.com on the front of the building in Inwood. Not exactly the cream of the crop in our area.

Those pesky life saving firefighters are at it again!

In my area if we're on a scene (be it a car accident or structure fire), it's our scene until we turn it over to the police. For the most part, they stay very much out of the way, or offer to help as much as they can.

    Lasik

I had it done Friday morning by Dr. Tayfour in Windsor, Ontario. I went in at 9am with moderate astigmatism and far sightedness and walked out at 11am with better than 20/20. The procedure itself is completely painless but I can see a person being uncomfortable with the equipment so close to...

It blows my mind that people like Bieber and Miley Cyrus get as huge as they are, and these incredibly talented kids are something neat to see on youtube.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Emerson Knives

I've got a Micro commander (sn 009 for those who find that kind of thing interesting) and a folding karambit (also an early one, 269 or something like that). In the little I've dabbled with knife training, not much short of an auto is faster or more of an attention grabber than the wave.

    Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

It's not bad at lower magnification, but I don't really shoot much closer than 100, so I can't give you a real knowledgeable answer. I will say that I'd take it any day over the POS Cabelas 4-12 with the adjustable parallax and objective that I had on it for a couple years.

I finally got decent glass for the BV. Vortex definitely got it right with the PST and 2.5-10x44 seems to work perfect for targets and varmints. I really like the DIP bottom metal and Triad pack as well. Here's where I shoot in spring when whatever we put in is small and in fall/winter...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Whats the best designed true fighting knife

I've done a little playing around with an Emerson Karambit. One of my aikido instructors is also 3rd degree in arnis, so we occasionally change it up to sticks and knives. I can honestly say someone who knows what they're doing with a karambit is one of the most intimidating things I've ever...

Sidearms & Scatterguns any Karambit users here?

I just picked up an Emerson (#0269 for those who find it interesting). I practice aikido and one of the instructors has been in escrima/arnis for years, so we get a little of that as well. Id like to try my hand at mixing a karambit in there too.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Carry knife preferences

I carry an Emerson Microcommander most of the time (SN 009 for whoever finds that interesting), an Izula or a waved Delica.

Sidearms & Scatterguns any Karambit users here?

According to my aikido instructor (he's also big into arnis/escrima), in the Philippines they use karambits like we do a clip point. I've never seen something scarier than him playing with sticks or a knife, so take that information as you will.
