A number of improvements have been made since last year. The end cap to which the buttstock is mounted is now removable with a quick release lever, so the bolt can be removed in seconds. Some minor enhancements have been added as well, mostly to reduce a bit more weight.

Keep in mind that these reviews started a few years ago. Some improvements have been made. For example, the bolt is now very accessible by removing the endcap with the buttstock using a quick release lever.

The TAC21 chassis will accommodate a recoil lug up to ½ inch thick, which would be over kill. We do make a 5/16 remington pattern recoil lug for this reason.

It works well at 1000 yards. I was hoping you would get some feedback from others on this before I posted an answer. We have many using it at long range. With the straight line design the recoil comes straight back, and therefore follow up shots are quick.
