Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
Still selecting a charity for this project. In the meantime, check out this MDT TMBR Stock made from recycled chopsticks! Feel free to suggest an organization! This is a one-off only. The MDT TMBR Stock made from laminate will be released soon!
The customer support team is working a massive amount of overtime. Our standard response time is 2 hours, but with the current volume it will take longer unfortunately.
Hi guys, We are super glad our website held up this year. We put a lot of effort and money into getting onto a platform that supports the firearm industry and is well setup for the load we get. With any new system, there are bugs. And with growth, there are new people involved. There are...
We do have some customers that use Stiller and Surgeon actions, but most of them would have had to make some modifications. For example with the Surgeon I have seen them with a slot milled on the left to allow for the bolt release. You would indeed need a Remington 700 profile. You can get some...
The mag well on the TAC21 is 3.715. (The Remington Tactical Chassis Rifle uses 3.775) The issue will be what magazine you are going to use. But it looks like it should fit fine in the .338 Lapua magazine. See the comparison picture at: .338 Norma Magnum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
You can mount whatever you like on the TAC21. Forward grip will work fine, you can mount rails to the bottom (and sides) of the fore end. But yes you will need to purchase an AR-15 buttstock separately. But.... honestly, if you take it hunting, I would go for the LSS chassis if you will be...
That is not the case on the TAC21. The action is pulled into the v-bedding and has nowhere to go. You will see guaranteed accuracy increase. That was the case on the first model, several years ago. Now it can be done in seconds. It depends on what you are looking for. Using a Magpul PRS the...
The LSS was originally designed for collapsible stocks. But since many people wanted to use Fixed stocks, we started making the fixed stock adapters. This certainly gives it a large LOP. In the next couple days we are releasing a new Fixed Stock adapter which will be shorter, look better and...
How did you come to that conclusion? It takes 30 minutes to install the chassis, and the action sits tight in a v block which is integral to the chassis. The only other thing that is bolted together is the fore end. But it does not touch anything and is very solid. The TAC21 has been tested...
A number of improvements have been made since last year. The end cap to which the buttstock is mounted is now removable with a quick release lever, so the bolt can be removed in seconds. Some minor enhancements have been added as well, mostly to reduce a bit more weight.
Keep in mind that these reviews started a few years ago. Some improvements have been made. For example, the bolt is now very accessible by removing the endcap with the buttstock using a quick release lever.
The TAC21 chassis will accommodate a recoil lug up to ½ inch thick, which would be over kill. We do make a 5/16 remington pattern recoil lug for this reason.
It works well at 1000 yards. I was hoping you would get some feedback from others on this before I posted an answer. We have many using it at long range. With the straight line design the recoil comes straight back, and therefore follow up shots are quick.
