    This is correct, the base is folded steel. You could cut the plastic off of a CTR mount and Tig weld a piece of sheet metal to the bottom of it, but its not worth the headache. There is no cheap solution to TRG-22 mags, you just have to bite the bullet and buy some spares. Keep an eye out on...

    That won’t work. The plastic serves as the baseplate on ctr magazines. If you shave it off there will be no bottom.

    Another vote from me for rainier ultra match. I was trying to sight in my scope and was having trouble seeing the shots at 100 yards. Upon further inspection, that’s because 4 out of 5 went in the same hole.
