I am trying to find rings for LSA55 Deluxe. It is not tapped and the receiver is milled. I believe it is 16 or 17 mm milled receiver. What rings will work? What about a DIP base?? Your thoughts? Ron

I would like to replace the fixed rear sight on my commander. I would like a carry sight, not a target sight. I want to leave the front sight alone. What would be some suggestions? I would also like some suggestions in low profile adjustable.... I would like to know if this requires major slide...

Bought a new TRS-1 scope. I tried to mount it on a 20 moa base on my rifle. The reticule was canted to the left. Sent it to Bushnell, they are sending me a new scope. Will let you know how it works out, but customer service is super.

Re: Advice for 30/30 powder The Lee powder scoops work fine. Buy a set of Lee dies and get the powder scoop and a loading sheet for the caliber.

Re: possible rare find at flea market today? I was under the impression and my memory is not what it was, but I had a P17 and tried to chamber it in 300WM but magazine was a little short and went with the .308 Norma instead. Any thoughts? Just my memories.. Maybe the 300 is not a SM but a Norma?

Re: Which 22lr rifle to get? Got all the kids (3) 10-22's.. Big mistake, scopes, extra mags, and a brick of 22 on a Saturday. I think the Marlin or Savage 22 bolt would have been better, and more economical.. IMHO

Re: First Shot Question I have seen this phenomenon before. I would ask you to video your shoot. My guess is you are not comfortable on the weapon before the first shot. You are snuggling in on the subsequent shots and they are on.. It could be parallax. But most likely improper orientation.

Re: Millett TRS1. The test begins... Thank you for your thoughtful review.. I too have been disappointed with the lack of objective reviews. I have a TRS-1 mil/mil. I have not fired yet and believe after mounting that the reticule is canted. I know that I can box it and find out for sure...
