It does. An L-shaped Mil-Dot. To be honest, the H-32 reticle is better, but changing reticles is not possible...or rather affordable. That's why I will sell my new Spotter 60 to get a custom Spotter 60 with H-32. The Spotter 45 has the H-32 by default.
Care to share the design? I want to incorporate a mount for a 3x booster and still look into options to mount a PLRF 15C. The offset 1/4 thread is not a great feature on the 15(C).
Prices for S&B skyrocketed after the PSR contract. The quality, however did not increase. Some even have plastic parts for parallax now, which lead to defective scopes when used with high recoil calibers. The "old" PMII scopes were "cheaper" and better in quality. That's what many people...
I have a S&B 5-25x56 PMII and compared it directly with a Steiner 5-25x56, a Kahles K624i and my old Hensoldt 3-12x56 SSG-P. Immediately ordered a K624i. Compared to the S&B it was like someone turned on the light switch, I could see more detail despite heavy mirage out to 1000m, the field of...
Currently looking at a low-profile leveling base with 25° angle and rated for 30kg. In my case a German company (FLM FB-25), but I am sure there are equally good products in the US. It is lower than most ball heads, mounted to a Rollei carbon fibre tripod rated for 24kg it should be a light and...
The AWM is a great rifle. I love mine. Did you check the extractor for damage? Does the extractor grab the cases properly on the removed bolt? Excessive headspace would be an issue with .338, especially since the AWM was not meant for that caliber (modified .300WinMag action). Without a gauge...
Apologies for hijacking, did not find any info and it does not deserve a separate thread: Is the objective thread the same as on a S&B 5-25x56, eg. do the S&B ARD/sunshades fit on the Kahles K624i? Thanks in advance!
Great idea! I made a 3D model for an adjustable mount with an adaptor for a 3x booster infront of the eyepiece, but did not find the time to actually manufacture it. This is a simple solution. I like the QD mount for the side rail. The APO is waaaay overpriced for what it can do, though.
I did not want to start a new topic in Gunsmithing and did not find the answer despite several attempts of search inquiries.... Has anyone the head space / chamber protrusion for the RPR at hand? Ideally from the thread shoulder. Don't have a rifle at hand to take apart and measure it myself...
Have the same with factory Lapua Lockbase cartridges on an old AWM .338LM. It's the "military" firing pin causing these imprints. Saw it on PGM rifles, too. Heard some even punch right through the primer on 6,5Creedmoor. Started joking you won't need a primer. The pin will propel the projectile...
I'll play along. My 18" AR-15. Prototype mono upper / lower and barricade devices designed and manufactured by a friend. Internals and butt stock are made by Oberland Arms. ACOG and ARMS sights, Syrac adjustable low profile gas block.
I've recently got a PLRF15C. Took some time to get all the paperwork for customer service, but they help if you have the time and willpower. There is also another Rangefinder made by Jenoptik/Germany, no feedback on these, yet. Maybe I can check them out on the EnforceTac in Nuremberg in March...
