It seems obvious at this point, that creating Israel for the jews following WW2 was a mistake. I wasn't there, but I can understand why it was done, and sympathize with it. But was it really necessary? It didn't stop anti-semitism, maybe even increased it. My understanding is that if there were 6 million jews killed in the 'camps', there were an additional 5 million others who died there who barely get mentioned, much less get a separate country for each group. But what it did was indemnify the US to giving Israel a blank check from the US every year, ad infinitum, which adds up to hundreds of billions. Despite all that largesse, Israel spies on us; then there is the USS LIberty. As with most foreign aid, it buys us very little, except the promise to be right there when they need us.. We now have political division here over it, and politicians and citizens who seem more loyal to Israel than the US.

Though is has been proven over, and over, and over, that it is not a viable ideology for human beings; don’t forget that real Marxist Communism promises that it will evolve into a society that does not have any government. To me the difference between limited, Liberal government, and no government is a vast one. Vast enough to create a large enough battlefield. If we had the Constitutional Republic the founders gave us we would be so rich and powerful the rest of the world would probably follow suit. Jefferson had it exactly right. We are being destroyed through the Judicial branch. There is a lot to dislike about the Israeli government from a libertarian point of view. I would only point to a country like Denmark (about the same size population on half the land) to make an arguement. Socialism can actually be successful if your population has the same culture, the same shared history, the same morals, values, work ethic, the same aspirations, etc. In other words if a state is homogenous and uni-cultural giving everyone the same can work on a small scale. Introduce diversity, which success naturally attracts, and it is a disaster. Denmark is about half as socialist as they were 50 years ago. The EU and unrestricted immigration have shattered their system, and they’ve had to become much less socialist to prevent their system from collapsing as out has. They have an actual national pension system with actual money and actual investments (50% Danish and 50% international). We have a Ponzie scheme that is already a total failure.

IMO the most important factor is Israel is nuclear armed. Thats where the actors that wish Israel to end are not facing reality. Israel will never give up its nuclear weapons. IMO there are only three logical outcomes.
1. Israel plays increasing hardball- disregards civillian casualties and becomes fortress Israel.. This creates conditions where nuclear weapons are not used.
2. Israel manages to incorporate west bank and gaza into Israel society. This creates conditions where nuclear weapons are not used.
