That 4moa gun was safe for the bad guy down range, also, lol.Seems to me a shop that puts out work this sloppy could just as easily put out work that was dangerous. Glad the rifles were safe for the shooters.
Those weren’t rebuilt……they were unfucked!!!..not re-tuned...those were re-built.
Avg shot is what ...71 yards or some shit. A 10 moa gun is lethal at those ranges. That 4moa gun was safe for the bad guy down range, also, lol.
Are you being sarcastic or are you simply not digesting the way these rifles could be deployed?Avg shot is what ...71 yards or some shit. A 10 moa gun is lethal at those ranges.
Ignore him, if it’s not made in America or Austria, he hates it off the cuff. Are you being sarcastic or are you simply not digesting the way these rifles could be deployed?
Pics ?NV mounts installed backwards (yes doesn't effect accuracy but it's attn. to detail is my bitch there)
For sure.Pics ?
Seems like some of these conventional stocks and short scopes you need it “backwards” and even then it’s not enough sometimes.

By these bafoons? I wouldn't trust them with a nerf gun. Incompetent fools with badges are more of a danger to public than an asset. Are you being sarcastic or are you simply not digesting the way these rifles could be deployed?

mark on the receiver from the chip?

It's that mark/indentation up at 1 o'clock position. I knew I took a picture of it. LOL!
That's a new feature. You can easily adjust the headspace by changing the amount and thickness of the chips and have all the peace of mind of a shouldered and torqued barrel without having to resort to a barrel nut.
You can even compensate for that reverse canted scope mount by putting additional/thicker chips at the 6 o'clock position on the receiver face to push the muzzle up.
Fixed it for you, Frank. Use the "link" field in the picture insert dialog
How the fuck you get a copy of my birth certificate?
One of the 4 guns we actually cut some of it off. It was hitting the receiver when you closed the bolt and didn't want it interfering at all with the bolt closing. At least the bolt knob has the tactical TP wrapped around it
Good on you Frank for doing the right thing
That's the funky part. Chambers actually looked pretty decent. Every one we've checked even head spaced.Wonder what the chambers look like and how well they were dialed in?
Well, WTF do I know...It's the only way to simulate dialing and shooting at 1,400 yds on a 100yd range!.
The DeltaSealSOC units all run that setup for their snipers.
Well, WTF do I know...
But seems to me you need to find 1,400 yards somewhere, if you want to be proficient shooting at that range.
Any idiot can dial elevation. Learning wind calls, reading mirage at 1,400 yards you need to BE at 1,400 yards...
LOL.
Know yer audience.LOL.
Just when I thought I was being soooooo sarcastic, only a . . . . well . . . . a mentally challenged person . . . . would think I was being literal.
Holy shit! He took that bait and ripped all the line off of my Zebco 33 running with it.**
I'm pretty sure he would have done the same with a salt water surf rig.
Gotta love the internet!
I like TOTALLY need to come here more and troll for dumbasses.
**@Wannashootit . . . . To be clear, I do not have a Zebco 33 and I do not, in fact have any bait.

I didn't take no offense. All cool brother!Apologies @Frank Green.
I didn't mean to turn your thread into a goat fuck.
What you posted and are taking the time to update us on is actually interesting and educational.
(and in case @Wannashootit reads this, )
For real.
Not being sarcastic.
These were two of my first sarcastic thoughts also. These guys related to that tacticalrifles.net guy from years back?
Bet that dept can find a weird link between the decision maker at the PD and the shop if they look a little bit…..
Well, if you have no idea about anything shooting and are told to fab some mounts that “look like this, but add a 20 MOA cant”…How does someone even get to the point of being setup to custom fab scope bases without understanding the cant?
I would expect 0moa if they weren't sure, but they fuckin' committed in the wrong direction
LOL.

Thanks bud! Thanks for the update Frank. You guys went way above and beyond for your local agency. I hope others take note and consider who they have do the work on their issue weapons.
So for these last two guns I was going to give them back to them with the old mounts on them and just couldn't do it. One rifle had two shims underneath the back of the mount and the other rifle the mount was bowed/bent call it what you want. So I took the old mounts off and put more EGW's on for them.
One rifle I was able to give them another 35moa of travel in the scope and the other rifle gave it back another 30moa of travel. So for the most part they have all the travel back in the scopes instead of them being close to or max'd out for elevation.
Guns #6&7 are done and getting picked up today.
You and your team are awesome! Even though I’m outside the area of influence, I REALLY appreciate the work you (team) do.So for these last two guns I was going to give them back to them with the old mounts on them and just couldn't do it. Should be tasing the person who authorized and accepted that work, followed by the turds that did the work. Pepper spray their jerk juice tubes, too.HO
LEE
SCHIT!
How could anybody in their right mind allow something that looks like that or shoots like that out of their shop? ! ! It's bad enough that they would allow ANY rifle out of there like that but sending out WORK guns like that. . . . . somebody needs their nuts cut off.
And if that agency had 7 rifles built, they are not a small agency! Milwaukee PD or whoever accepted those rifles must have a clueless person running their show. I cringe at the thought of that team leader actually issuing the rifles to his PMOs. If I was the Crisis Management coordinator, I would threaten to replace the TL due to questionable judgement.
To heck with Get out of Jail Free card. Tell them you want to go to their pursuit track and practice Pit maneuvers all day and then after tearing their cars up, be sure to insist on Tasing somebody before you go home!
Good on you Frank for handling that.
