Rifle Scopes Vortex Optics Owners Poll

Re: Vortex Optics Owners Poll Polls allow too many rogues to manipulate the results. Word of mouth is the poll that I depend upon from users of the products.

Rifle Scopes IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS

Re: IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS If you know your ranges and are simply shooting paper, then SFP makes more sense IMO. Reticle will look smaller at higher magnifications and obstruct less of the target. For tactical shooting FFP makes more sense to me.

Rifle Scopes Razor HD vs NF NXS

Re: Razor HD vs NF NXS First off do you prefer FFP or SFP scopes? That would help to decide

Rifle Scopes IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS

Re: IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS Its apples and oranges. One is FFP and the other is SFP. You have to decide which you want, unless you are talking F1 and the IOR's.

Rifle Scopes IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS

Re: IOR Tactical VS. NIGHTFORCE NXS IOR glass is better IMO. Durability of NF is unquestioned though. The newest IOR scopes are pretty nice. As far as one of the poster complaining about the reticle size at full power, he must not understand the SPF vs the FFP scopes Either one is a...

    question on savage barrels

Re: question on savage barrels Sorry if I was not clear. NSS is well below $300.00 for a standard length SS Select Match barrel. I was trying to let the OP know that $380 was not a great price for a Shilen was all

    question on savage barrels

Re: question on savage barrels Of all the barrels that you listed that are pre-fit, I would purchase the Shilen, especially for under $300.00 pricing for 26" lengths or less rom Northland Shooters Supply. I have never heard of any issues with their quality and they are also great shooters...

    Rifle Scopes Vortex Crossfire

Re: Vortex Crossfire SWFA offers this same scope for $99.00 and is a SH supporter. They are out of stock at the moment, but it is a great deal for the cash. Don't expect the moon and you will be most happy. It is a solid scope.

Rifle Scopes why does everyone insist on the 10x SS???

Re: why does everyone insist on the 10x SS??? 200 yds and paper targets. Give me all the scope that I can get My old eyes are not what they once were. If some of you guys feel that you can shoot that far with a 10X and score as well as a good shooter with a 20X, more power to you. I have...

Rifle Scopes WTK: Quality of Sightron 8-32X56 SIII Scope

Re: WTK: Quality of Sightron 8-32X56 SIII Scope I would prefer a reticle like the Vortex Razor, Night Force NP-R2, etc. Dots are not my bag

Rifle Scopes WTK: Quality of Sightron 8-32X56 SIII Scope

Re: WTK: Quality of Sightron 8-32X56 SIII Scope Everything that I have ever heard about the Sightron SIII series is that they track great and the glass is very nice. Many BR shooters use them. Great value it would seem. I just wished that they offered a reticle that was more for LR...

Rifle Scopes help me pick a scope

Re: help me pick a scope 8-32 is not too much for pdog shooting and for my old eyes it is not too much for LR shooting either. It is too much if you are thinking about hunting, but targets and small objects I would have zero issues with using an 8-32 powered scope

    Manners T2A vs. T4A

Re: Manners T2A vs. T4A If you are using a rear bag, then you definitely do not want a hook! You want the butt of the stock to slide easily in the rear bag. I love the T2 myself and had a clone of it made using exotic woods. It is a great design IMO and very comfortable to handle.

Need an Affordable Bolt Gun... Please Help!

Re: Need an Affordable Bolt Gun... Please Help! Buy the Savage and sleep well that it will be a good shooter right out of the box. The other thing is there is any issue, you can expect very good service from Savage Arms CS. Last I heard Remington CS considers 3 MOA as a good shooter and not...

Rifle Scopes Viper PST BACK-BACK Ordered

Re: Viper PST BACK-BACK Ordered Price matters to a great many people. Time I have money I don't. I have to make some concession somewhere so time is what I have to allow. Your case must be different.
