    just to make sure im understanding, the Hornady app shows 308 168gr match will require to dial up 12moa for 500 yards, so out of the 35moa of scope up adjustment, im only using 12moa of that in this example.

    Since you are limited to 500 yards I dont think you would require a 20moa base, long range is 600 yards and further, maybe someone else can confirm that. Do you have a scope picked yet ? Im doing my research now and have a couple of threads going asking questions, I cant afford a $2500 scope...
