    Have you found a particular velocity that works well? Im shooting 168 gr SMKs with IMR 4895, up to 41 grains so far....

    Re: Remington 5r in 308 handloads Well I couldnt stand it so I loaded some up and went to the range. 168 SMKs IMR 4895 at 39, 39.5, and 40 grains..... The 40gr shot the best. 5 shot groups at .6 inches, the last i screwed up. If not for the last one it would have been a .4 group at 100...

    I have been shooting some 155 gr amax with IMR 4895 44.5 grains with pretty good results. My OAL is 2.805. Velocity is avg 2795. Does anyone else have any pet loads for theirs that they love? Im up to trying new stuff
