Cheap factory ammo at Natchez I see.

    7mmprc

If I had an 8 or 8.5 twisted 7mm Rem Mag setup to shoot 180 scenars, I'd be set for .284 caliber. If not, I'd buy 7mm PRC and hope the Hornady factory stuff would run well.

    Accubond vs Berger vs barnes

The Berger ammunition with 135 hybrids is quite good. Assuming this is 6.5 creedmoor.

The reason employees suck and there’s a shortage of them

Chamber of Commerce and the GOP/Dem Uniparty is very happy.

The reason employees suck and there’s a shortage of them

It turns out if you import 20 million unskilled workers, the demand for unskilled workers drops along with the wages. Sort of like importing Pakistani and Indian engineers in droves. Do that enough and engineering pay flattens out. Laws of economics are rarely wrong.

McMillan stock rescued - opinions on how to fix

If you have the skill set, I'd take option one. Its really only a cosmetic issue so depending on your outlook, I'd not let it really bother me. Bed it well and go shoot it.

    18" 6.5 Creedmoor 7 twist 156gr Berger EOL experience?

We've had great luck using 18-19" barrels on 6.5x47 rifles and 140 berger vld hunting bullets. I'd think it be a wash between 135, 140 and 156 actually. Our's are 8 twist but can't see a 7 mattering much at these velocities.

    Stuck bolt

Possibly the gunsmith who professionally cleaned it left some grease or excess oil in the chamber? I'd wrap a leather glove around the bolt and then pound it. Good luck though and hope it works out with minimal work.

Custom Hunting Build. Whose the go to guy?

I built a few due to shooting lefthanded and wanting things not offered in lefty. In the OP shoes I'd simply buy a Seekins Pro Havak in 6.5 creedmoor or 6.5 PRC. Add a NXS 2.5-10 or an Atacr 4-16 and start shooting. Or any of the previously mentioned off the shelf rifles.

    Daughter's McMillan stock ready

I still love a McMillan Swirly. Dressing my daughter's 6.5 Creedmoor a bit for her. Need to get the metal to Birdsong for some black teflon. 40 light grey, 40 pink, 20 black on this one.

    Tikka T3 scope

Friend just ordered a T3 lite in 6.5 creedmoor. Sportsmatch rings and a 6x SS going on it. Should work fine. I use 6x and 10x on some 223 rigs with good success.

Cerakote inside Impact Action? Yay or Nay

I've had cerakote make 2 actions very rough as mentioned above. I might be inclined to try Birdsong Black T as that has worked very well on a few actions for me. They have a green color of that. It seems much thinner than cerakote.

    Handloads for hunting

Have shot many animals with Berger VLD bullets over the years and never had excessive meat loss. They'll pencil through an onside shoulder and then destroy vitals. Or punched through the lungs they perform well also. Family has eaten literally tons of meat shot with Bergers and other lead core...

Looking a Good Heavier Range Hand gun

Watched a few videos of the Staccato line up. Perhaps a bit heavier than a Glock and seem to get great reviews. Any feedback on those?

Thoughts on a chance for the lighter weight hunter action in 2024? Optimistic perhaps?

Shooting Question ( High and Left )

Refreshing to see a guy ask for advice and accept it with an open mind. You'll get it sorted quickly would be my guess.

7mm Mag or 300 Win Mag for Hunting

I shoot and hunt suppressed now. I know my limits when shooting centerfire and have great success at long range with them. Use the 6.5x47 for under 600 yard stuff, 6.5-284 if I want 800 to be an option. Always berger bullets though may switch depending on supply to 147 eld.

7mm Mag or 300 Win Mag for Hunting

We keep killing things with 6.5x47, 6.5 creedmoor and 30/06. I hate brakes on hunting rifles as I never used to put in plugs. Hearing aids are great at earlier than age 60 lol. I'd buy a 6.5 creedmoor, 270, 30/06 and learn to shoot it well. First choice Tikka T3, second choice for more money...
