    Re: AR 15 Barrel 1:9 Twist? Check your rifling yourself to be sure. I have a 16" RRA 1:9 barrel, it is dang near 1:8.5. I run 75gr Hornady HPBT handloads @ 2675 to 500 easy, and on low wind days she will lob them out there to 750.

    Update: I removed the butt pad, taped the stock, marked it, and cut. Pretty simple, I just went what felt to be painfully slow. I re-installed the butt pad, tightened it down, put it back together and took a few shots and spent some time behind it to make sure I didn't need to remove anymore...

    Re: Which caliber is better? 223 is legal in Tx for WT deer. Not sure about the 22-250 that vaporizes a crow. IMO, if the bullet will vaporize a crow, maybe it is a bullet choice issue but that is too explosive for WT, and damn sure pigs. 223 can kill pigs sure, and ALOT of people down...
