    Fire Forming - - Help ?

Re: Fire Forming - - Help ? I fireform .375 H&H into .375 Weatherby. It's not much of a modification to the case, so I usually just load one of my comfortable target loads (About 10% under max) and it works just fine. What is the cream of wheat for?

    Want to Re-Load, need input...

Re: Want to Re-Load, need input... Just pitching in my 2 cents here, there has been a LOT of good information imparted, and I agree with aspects of all of it. First of all, get a few good books on the subject and read them from cover to cover. That being said, trying to reload from a book...

    9x25 Dillon-anyone have any data?

Re: 9x25 Dillon-anyone have any data? James, that's the ammo he bought, I talked to him this evening. I did a bit more research, and in my opinion, he would have been better off buying a 30-30 with a short barrel. That said, the ballistics are sick...I don't know of any 9mm bullets besides...

    9x25 Dillon-anyone have any data?

Hello all, My father just bought a 9x25 Dillon conversion for his Glock 20, and I will inevitably end up doing the reloading for it. Does anyone have any experience with it?

.44 Magnum loads for a Ruger Carbine

Re: .44 Magnum loads for a Ruger Carbine My standby for my Model 29's is 24.7 grains of 296 behind a 240gr. JHP, I don't load lead, I had bad experiences early on.

.44 Magnum loads for a Ruger Carbine

Hello all, Has anyone done any of the above? I was just wondering if there was any personal experience or data out there about it. I assume it's OK to load within factory spec, but has anyone done anything with warmer loads and/or bullets in the 300 grain range? I would appreciate any input...

    "Alternative" tumbling media?

Re: "Alternative" tumbling media? Once you go to SS media, you'll wonder why you ever used walnut, corn, sand, or anything else in the first place. There's a bit of cost up front, but it pays for itself quickly in terms of wife complaints about dust and mess, and in cost of media in the long run!

    Would you load these?

Re: Would you load these? Like CVH said-round out the necks, size them and load them, they'll be fine.

    Russian Primers

Re: Russian Primers Most people associate Russian primers with "Wolf" brand. They're fine in my experience, I have never had an issue with them. Powder Valley carries them, and they're the most economical out there.

iam not getting it and need some one to explain

Re: iam not getting it and need some one to expla Wild Bill touched on this briefly, but he makes a good point. It's a little close range to start noticing THAT much, but there is another factor-just about all of your 7.62-chambered battle or battle-type rifles do have a longer twist...

    Reloading for the M1918 BAR......??

Re: Reloading for the M1918 BAR......?? According to the military TM, the load for the M2 Ball 30-06 is 50gr of 4895, doesn't specify bullet weight, gives chamber pressure at 50k psi and mv of 2740 78 feet from the muzzle. Reloading regualr ammo should be fine for it as long as you keep...

    Lake City Match Brass...

Re: Lake City Match Brass... I shoot nothing but LC Match and LR. You definitely have a bit less case capacity. That being said, not knowing what you're shooting it from, it would probably be best to start a few grains below what's considered max and work from there, just to be safe. Inless...

    Recommendations for gas-gun brass

Re: Recommendations for gas-gun brass I call my FAL "Cookie Monster", because it really doesn't care what it shoots, and it wrecks the brass.Trying to re-form the cases is as bad or worse than what M-60 ammo used to be. That being said, I agree with what those above have said, uniformity...
