I finally loaded my first 20 rounds. I went and picked up some powder and primers the other day and started on it last night. The cases (50) have all been prepped and cleaned for a few weeks, so I was ready. I'll tell ya...the first few primers I pushed in were nervous moments indeed. The powder...

    my new reloading bench....

I made this over that weekend and stained it the next day. I used tongue oil to seal the top....it's pretty sturdy. The Lee press I clamp to the end so I don't have to have it up all of the time. Works out well. Now if I can get the wife to quit parking her car in my man cave. M

how far can you really see??

I have a friend that has a spotting scope that only is good for about 100 yards. I've used it and it sucks...I have been reading the threads about all of the spotting scopes that are a little on the less expensive side. The one I have decided on is the Konus Konuspot 20-60x80mm Spotting Scope...

Re: Best .308 Ammo Prices? I've used SouthWest and was very pleased with its performance. I've tried Black Hills as well and thought SWA was better....and cheaper.

Re: My .308 reloading setup ahh....gotcha.....so basically the same piece of equipment, but one to use before and after cleaning brass. Seems like a smart move. My goodies will be delivered by Mr. UPS today....and I won't reload for another several weeks at least. Gonna suck having all of...

    My .308 reloading setup
