    Gunsmithing Kimber loading problem?

Re: Kimber loading problem? The pistol was bought new in 2004. 2005 I had some wilson work done. New barrel, new guide rod and spring. Since then I've had one wilson magezine ruined (bent out of operation). I tried adjusting the mag release with an allen wrench. NO BUENO!

    Gunsmithing Kimber loading problem?

Got a Kimber Custome TLE II. I'm using Wilson 8 rd mags. I'm having feeding problems. Somehow the mag release is slowing the mag feeding process. When I feed a mag, it feels fine, until the mag gets maybe an inch from seating, then its stuck! I can man handle it and keep shooting, but when...

Factory stocks...! Another HS precision B!#ch.

Re: Factory stocks...! Another HS precision B!#ch. I have an ltr and a 5r(stock is virtually the same as the 700p or pss). Both are inches to low. What I'm running into is neck tension. I find the more I can rest my cheekbone on the stock the less neck tension I get. Iduno maybe its just...

Factory stocks...! Another HS precision B!#ch.

I just had a successfull day at the range shooting my Rem 504 22 lr. Tonight it accured to me... Why is it that I can get a relatively inexpensive target rifle that has a factory stock with a raised cheek piece. Then for nearly twice the money I get another Rem product that has no raised cheek...

    Rem 504 .22lr?

I've got a couple of rem 700 .308, both shoot pretty good. However match ammo gets expensive. I bought a trainer awhile back, rem 504. Got some $70 Barska scope not sure what rings(whatever the shop had). I'm using bulk Fed 36gr hp. 5 shot groups at 100yd are consistantly measuring 1.5...

    Gunsmithing AR-15 Rifle Buffer

Re: AR-15 Rifle Buffer Gernerally buffers act as one of two things "to soften felt recoil" and "prevent action ware". On allot of guns felt recoil can be reduced by several means other than a buffer i.e. shortening barrel, adding a muzzle brake, dif loads, etc. You are talking about a 20"...

    Gunsmithing 700 5r X-mark trigger?

Not a big fan of the x-mark! I liked the older remington triggers i.e. my 700 ltr bought 5 years ago! Any suggestions on a comprable trigger for $100 or less?
