    I have just received a 1974 6.5-20 x 40mm Vari III. I can really tell it is not even close to the clarity of my VX3 4.5-14 that is about 5 years old. My question is if I send this scope back to leupold for some rehab work, how much improvement should I expect on such an older model scope...

    Anyone reloading Barnes 85 Gr TSX bullets in .243 win

    I am developing a load for the 80 grain TTSX with N140. Started with .010 off lands and groups looked promising. Changing seating depth to .050 off lands to see any improvement.

    Total Time for Perfect Reloads?

    Building wall to catch brass

    At the local gun club they are wanting to build a wall to catch brass. I was looking for ideas that would help funnel brass to a confined area. Maybe a box on the bottom with an open top. Any suggestions would help. Thx SH members!

    Use 2 different loads in the 338 Lapua?

    I am loading for 2 338 Lapua Mags. Do you recommend one load for hunting, using hunt style bullets, and another for steel & paper using target style bullets? I ran out of the 300 Berger Tactical, now I will be using the 300 elite hunter. Will the same load work with the new bullets? I hope so...

    Re: short or long stiller action? I talked to douglas barrels and they said I need 104-110 thou of lead for a 105 VLD bullet. Magazine of my choice would be 3'' min.
