    I would go for the PST Viper Gen 2 and just buy a lightly used one in the PX here. There are two in the right now for $700 shipped for the 5x25x50. Then you are getting better glass for the same price. Just my opinion though

    You could pick up a lightly used Gen II Razor from the PX, it’s heavy, but a nice piece of glass. They go from 16-1800 pretty often.

    No, using a 9mm can on a 22 is 3-4 dB louder then using a dedicated 22 can.

    What kind of round count are getting on your long strings of fire? Most can covers aren’t designed for semi auto use. They can still melt. They are good for a bolt gun setup for helping with mirage, but you start using them while doing mag dumps and it will melt to the damn can.

    I have tried them all, I personally like Sordins the best. I have been a firearms instructor for 15 years and have tried all the cheap, to expensive ear pro out there, and so far Sordin has beaten the rest for sound quality that can take a beating.
