    168's in 7mm-08?

    StaBall looks to have a lot of potential, but for right now I'm hoping I can get decent velocity with H414. I have quite a bit of it, and around 700 Federal GMM LR mag primers to use up.

    Anyone loading 168s in a 7mm-08? I know there's likely not quite enough case capacity to really "push" these bullets, especially out of my 22" barrel, but its hard to pass with Nosler offering them for under $20/100 (for 2nds). Any reason not to pick up 500 to try out? Right now I am limited...

    Nexus .260 brass?

    Anyone familiar with Nexus brass? I have a chance to pick up s decent amount in .260 to use in an AR10, but can't find out any information on it. How does it compare with Winchester or Remington?

    I hope to get the rifle to the range tomorrow, with plans on shooting the ladder tests at 300 yards. I'm very interested in seeing what velocities I get with H414, my goal is 2600fps out of the 22" barrel. I've run some numbers at 2575fps, and it gives me 4.88 MOA (1.4 mil) at 300 yards and 35...

    No H4350, just the IMR flavor....although, I only have 1-2lbs of it right now. I have 8+ lbs of Varget, 16lbs of H414, 5lbs of H450, 8+ lbs of 8208 XBR, and at least 2lbs of Hunter.

    I have a 7mm-08 built on a 700 action with a 22" Bartlein barrel, and have picked up quite a few Sierra MK's in 130 & 150gr, as well as some AMAX bullets in 162. Through a screw up on my part, I just picked up 7x boxes of Sierra 168gr bullets also for 7mm (thought they were .30 cal bullets)...
