New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Put the the shipment of 53gn vmax’s (which I had forgot I ordered) on top of a unopened full V4 kit…..which is sitting on top of a unopened Zero press. Why am I like this?
Sold my Promethus & bought a V4.
To me the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze…but I don’t go 100/100 on pdogs & I can afford to miss. Your mileage may vary.
I’ve wondered about a release trigger, specifically on a bench gun.
Seems to me that release trigger could remove a major source (for me anyway) for disruption during the shot. But I also generally trust that the gamers have thought of all this before & there is a reason it doesn’t work.
But I...
Ppl who say tough it out are stupid.
If you shoot lefty, get left handed guns. It will help with nearly all positional shooting. The controls will be more nature for you.
I went with a 223ai for my varminting/plinking inside 600yds build. (just waiting on a ShortBus paint job now)
I wanted to run the 75gn bullet class with little fuss. And honestly would have been happy with traditional 223 rem but I worried about getting the hotter 75gn rounds stuffed into a...
I picked up a Borka kit on a SH group buy.
Solid kit & ive been very happy with it.
Then I was gifted the Fix it sticks ultimate kit.
I use a lil from each kit but Honestly if I had to only have one I’d run the Fix It Sticks. The T handle is fast & handy. The limiters are good enough for my...
As a few of the old school Hiders know I had my disagreements with @orkan in the past.
BUT the value of the CPS on my bench is undeniable. Rock solid/ ultra precise seating/ zero effort….it’s a great tool.
If rebuilding my loading kit again I’d definitely buy another CPS.
1. Precision guns 100%
2. Pdog/ varminting rifles 100%
3. Big game Hunting rifles, slowly moving toward suppressed. But I put less value on suppression on a gun that will get fired once or twice a season.
4. Shotguns never will.
5. PDW 100%
6. Handguns never will
Like ppl have said check on the barrel of gun you intend to use.
If they drop in & out without issueLoad up 10-20 and test fire.
If all is well, go bonkers. Pistol reloading is an escape from the rigors of rifle reloading for me. Set up the Dillon & crank them out!
Hiders, I’m looking at getting a house built.
Does anyone have experience with setting a vault door for safe room?
My guns have multiplied enough that safes aren’t a reasonable option any longer.
I’m thinking of setting it in the basement and set into the concrete of the foundation.
Mainly...
My vote is weather the storm.
Ammo will trickle back into stock.
30-30 doesn’t have the market of others (say 6.5creed) if you wait 6 months, you will land some.
The Master funnel kits are upgrades. They won’t reinvent the wheel for anybody.
the $3 plastic funnel from Lee will accomplish the same task.
Same as the $55 aluminum reloading blocks vs the $8 plastic ones. They do the exact same thing....but the aluminum are an upgrade. It’s an individual...
