    6xc Lee collet die

I thought about that too. What part(s) would need to be modified? I would think the collet itself so the shell holder would engage it later.

    6xc Lee collet die

I would like to give the Lee collet neck sizing die a shot, but as my luck would have it they don't make 6xc as a standard option. I see they have 6 creedmoor as an option, would that work? It looks like the overall length is close enough. Or am I stuck sending in 3 pieces of brass, and waiting...

I used 70 ft lbs when spinning on my barrel, it has worked just fine. Don't forget the anti seize.

    New single stage press

I was recently in the same boat and, went with the MEC.. It is very smooth, and is built like a tank. The floating shell holder takes a little getting used to but a great feature nonetheless.

    Imapct action in McMillan a5

Thanks for the reply! I didn't order anything yet. I'll take a look at OTM. I debated ordering straight from McMillan, but a 6 month wait time was discouraging. Beautiful set up there as well. Did you have a smith spin up your barrel, or get it from an online source?

    Imapct action in McMillan a5

Hello hide, I just picked up my first impact 737r, so far I'm really impressed with the action. With only having delt with trued 700 actions in the past.. Does anyone know if this action will need extra inletting for the bolt release, and trigger hanger or will this fit in a standard rem 700...

New to Long Range, looking for advice between these two rifles

Rem 700 all the way, .308 will defiantly get you off the training wheels and become a very efficient shooter. The .308 is easy on barrels and very abundant. If you see the need to change calibers that action you already have can become many, many different calibers. I have a used a 700 action...

    Trimmed brass too short....

Hey All, I recently was doing some hand loading for the 6mmbr norma for an upcoming prairie dog trip. We were looking in an old manual that was for 6mmbr Remington, The trim to length on the norma dimensions is 1.555 where the trim to length on the remington is 1.520 What now? Is it...

    6mmbr loading dies.

I want to get some loading for my 6mmbr done, but what dies? The commercial dies say they are for 6mmbr Remington. I know Norma upgraded the case, and now even new tolerances are due to Lapua making brass. My question is without paying for custom dies will I be okay with a brand like Rcbs or...

    Jewell vs timney

I am currently building a bolt gun for range work/ Varmint, I really want to install another timney trigger, but the jewell seems sweet after shooting a friends rifle yesterday. It sounds like the jewell is prone to dirt, and sand but I am not too concerned about it. Any suggestions are much...
