    Hello 50 BMG shooters. Question for you, I'm loading 750 grain amaxes on top of 215 grains of h50 with coal of 5.750. I'm shooting an AR 50 and the velocity is only 2300 fps. Even though it's half moa at that velocity, isn't that slow? It doesn't seem to like the faster speeds!!!

    Yes, my humble opinion is the hs precision HTR is an underrated rifle. Accuracy wise it's with my ga precision and at the same time the FBI, Israelis, etc torture tested them and thus uses them. The only problem is, hs precision told me it will cost over $1,500 to rebarrel my 308!!

    4 moa seems about right. If you didnt click it down 4 moa and shot at a target at 100 yards, it would impact around 4 inches high. Thus 4 moa correction is needed

He is correct in that if your point of aim or crosshairs are pointing on a bullseye at 25 yards, then the actual impact of the bullet should be low by about 1.8 inches "or so".
