Your rifle is overgassed hence why it won't lock back... and it's flinging the cases into the deflector. Cheap band-aid = H2 w/ carbine spring (may have to step to a 308 spring) The right way = Adjustable gas block- smokin.338

Magpul k2 grip and V7 anyone else have a problem?
Gluing isn't going to work! Time to break out the dremel and remove material on the inside of the strap that is getting in the way. Should take about 15-20 mins...- smokin.338

It's not, wish I could find that video someone did where they show you in slow mode the recoil of a 17 firing. And when you see it on a cheap and cantilver mount, the amount of flex. When measured the recoil impulse on a 17 is greater then on a 50 bmg!- smokin.338
