    I know this should probably be asked in the AR15.com forum, but I like this one better. What difference does it make to use a carbine buffer in a rifle or the other way around? What is the difference in the carbine and rifle buffer springs? Is one longer or stronger than the other?

    AR handguards

    I have a bushmaster rifle with the varmiter freefloat handguards, I would like to change them to a YHM freefloat. I need to know if the barrel nut will interchange or will I have to install the one from YHM? Also, how do you remove the freefloat bushmaster handguards? Do they just unscrew?

    I just loaded a few rounds of .308 using 10.0gr trailboss and a 175SMK. I was very pleased, I never thought a centerfire rifle could be this quiet. I don't have a can and I believe it is still quieter than my 17HMR. I didn't chrony any of them or shoot for a group, I was just testing the load...

    30 caliber adapter

    anyone ever used one of these: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/32-acp-rifle-chamber-insert.aspx?a=471502 I ordered one to try, if it works it will make a easy way for subsonic loads for the non-reloaders. I was just wondering about rifle damage and accuracy.
