    I know why - it’s fucking payback for ITAR. You guys keep all the good tubes for yourself, while only exporting FOM reduced crap to the other side of the pond. There you have it - it’s a FOM reduced scope. Only the sophisticated parts of the world can handle the true power of S&B scopes.

    Objective lenses larger than 56mm

    Only tried the 72mm Hensoldt once. I’m still dreaming about finding one used for a reasonable price. The optical design is outdated, but it is still the biggest wow factor I’ve ever encountered.

    Denmark. As i recall, the ban came after pressure from EU. It hinders new rifle permits in said caliber. But you can get one for 510dtc, and probably stuff larger than that.

    Why not the new March 1,5-15x42 FFP? Seems like a match made in heaven for your needs… If you want a S&B, then go for a 5-20x50 ultra short. Anyway, the March you suggested would be my choice, if I had to choose between the two…
