    Gunsmithing How much thread do you need?

    I have a 24" fluted bull barrel for my AR Grendel that i would like a brake or flashhider on but the flutes end 3/8" from the end. Is that going to be enough threads? I really don't want to get into the flutes if I don't have to.

    6.5 Grendel NFG

    Starting my first build and I like the 6.5G round better than .223/5.56. It will be target rifle so I am not worried about taking down large game. I already have a billet lower. I know I want a 24" barrel but I am not sure who to go with. any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
