    Tripod Help - spotting scope

The Manfrotto MHXPRO-2W is very smooth and handles 85mm spotting scopes with ease. You can set just enough tension to hold the scope, but still be able to pan and tilt.

    Brass Catcher

If you look at the mounts between the two, the TacStar mount fits flush with the top of the pic rail, which is important if you have an optic or something else that need to be mounted over it. The one that you listed, the mount sticks up quite a ways above the rail.

    Brass Catcher

This one works excellent and has a lower profile mount than the Caldwell; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BGK8P7T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Suppressors Silencer Central Rant.........

I had the same experience a couple of weeks ago. Tried to order another companies suppressor (after buying a Banish 30 from them), and I was told that the suppressor didn't meet their standards, so they wouldn't sell it to me. I think it has to do more with them having very little profit selling...

LEAD SLED - Anyone know of one that works well for AR-platform as well as others?

For AR's, I started using the Caldwell Precision Turret; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07792Z1ZP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've been shooting AR pistols lately and they are hard to use on a traditional front rest/rear bag setup. The Caldwell allows you to clamp the...

Is anybody else getting "Explosive" stickers on their smokeless powder deliveries?

Just got this box from Bruno's with primers and powder in it. Maybe they haven't got the message n the new stickers.

    Zero question for AR15

When you look at the trajectory column, anything with a minus sign is below your zero point (example minus .7 inches at 25 yds, minus 1.9 inches at 175 yds.). You will need to input your data (velocity, bullet BC, etc.) into the calculator to get the best output. The chart that I did was just a...

    Zero question for AR15

Use the Hornady Ballistic Calculator to get a fairly good estimate. Using your choice of Speer Gold Dot 62 gr and their advertised velocity of 3000 fps, I came up with this for a 100 yd zero. There is less than 2" of movement between 25 and 150 yds.

25 06 lighter bullet powder suggestions

I just finished a workup with 92 gr Hammer Hunter and H4831sc. A little over 3400 fps and .2 MOA average.

    Carbon Six barrel feedback needed

I did the 280 Ackley Tikka pre-fit. 24" Magnum contour, 1:9 twist. Headspace was perfect. Chamber machining was excellent and the barrel lands and grooves were very smooth. Only thing out of tolerance was the barrel end was supposed to be .900 and came in at .860. Not a big deal, but had to turn...

    Co-ax press is misaligned

I have the same issue. The problem is with the round cast nubs on the handle. The one on the right side of mine is a smaller diameter than the left. Hasn't affected loading consistent ammo, and I had not noticed it until you started this thread.

    Carbon Six barrels?

Got a 280 Ackley Tikka pre-fit. Headspace was perfect. Chamber machining was excellent and the barrel lands and grooves were very smooth. Only thing out of tolerance was the barrel end was supposed to be .900 and came in at .860. Not a big deal, but had to turn the brake down as I had ordered it...

    Review my list of equipment

You may want to check if the Whidden click dies will fit in the Forester groove. With all the set screws that die uses, it may not fit correctly. I asked Whidden about this last year, and their response was "We don't know".
