Help me decide how to finish my reloading room

I am generally NOT a fan of pegboards, or the modular steel walls, but I hadn't honestly considered french cleats. That looks dang cool, and would let me add in modularity that still has a nice aesthetic.

Help me decide how to finish my reloading room

I load for 19?20? calibers, iirc. High volume: 9mm, .40s&w, 45acp, .223, and 308 nato. Lower volume, but still done on a 1050 (formerly, soon to be a Mk 7 Apex): 38special, 357mag, 44mag, 45LC, 10mm, 41mag. Low volume (less than 3k rounds a year, normally) all done on either a turret...

Help me decide how to finish my reloading room

WOW!! Thanks for all the replies and suggestions! That wouldn't give me much more storage- although long term, I will probably remove it and build a full floor-to-ceiling cabinet w/doors to make it a bit tidier, though. Projectiles and a small amount of brass for test runs and/or load...

Help me decide how to finish my reloading room

All brass cleaning/wet tumbling takes place outside the reloading/gun rooms. Definitely not enough room for my tumbler and separators, etc inside the reloading room.

Help me decide how to finish my reloading room

Some of you guys have some AMAZING reloading rooms... so... help, please: My reloading room is kinda tiny... 76 1/2" x 97 3/4". I built workbenches, with shelving below, along the Southern and Western walls. I REALLY need more storage. My benches are in a constant state of "Organize...

Dillon 1050 destroyed 9mm shellplate: Any ideas?

147g power coated 3.2g BA10 Running at 1200 rph on a RL1050 w/a Mark 7 X last night and this happened. The digital clutch kicked in, but I have it set relatively high, and there was a loud bang (not primer detonation, more like a mechanical release). It knocked the bottom rim of about 40% of...

Griffin Armament Optimus Paid for, and paperwork filled, including fingerprints, at the LGS' Silencer Shop kiosk on 2 July 2019. LGS received my tax stamp yesterday morning, so I was able to pick up the suppressor yesterday, June 12, 2020.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Best option: ~$1000 competition/ target pistol

Those had a LOT of fanfare/hype when they first came out, but about 6 months or so after that there were a ton of them for sale by both USPSA and 3 Gun guys. For a while, they were basically unobtanium because all of the gamers wanted to run them. Now they come up for sale used pretty often...

Rifle Scopes The Arken Optics Thread (merged)

I recommend you do a ladder test, and thoroughly document it with pictures and data, then post here. Likewise, I recommend you get some of these optics in the hands of some of the better known testers here on snipershide: Your tests and posts will help, but an uninvolved 3rd party who is...

What's the most stupid thing you've been told?

There are some aspects of vernacular and dialects that, for reasons most probably associated with personal history, I find acceptable: Y'all, ain't, uh uh, and a few others. Likewise, I can, to an extent, rationalize them as contractions and expedient linguistic developments. However, double...

What's the most stupid thing you've been told?

Dumbest firearm advice: This from a guy at a local 3 gun match I've been attending/shooting for 15+ years, and had never seen him before...our matches are normally small enough to only require 1, or at most, 2 squads. Typically between 6 and 15 people show up. "A good rifle will shoot ANY...
