Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I recently traded for an RCBS Rockchucker upgrading my present single stage presses. I understand that the Piggyback II was built many moons ago and was a decent progressive press. I’ve started a search for components and have watched YouTube videos showing operation of the unit. We are going...
Thanks for the links. I,have a ton of brass. I Checked at GI brass and can load plinkers for 17 cents per round. Nice thing is to spend quality time with my son and teach him reloading skills. Save a little money an make a bond with my son stronger. Win win.
Hello. I’m looking at a little more volume loading to get my son into shooting the AR. Where are you guys finding the best pull down or surplus prices for powder and projectiles. He will also be helping with the reloading process so a win win for a new shooter.
I don’t compete. I’ve owned a 75 B Compact for about 4 years. Two years ago I installed the Cajun Gunworks Pro Kit. Man! Single and double action are smooth and sweet. The best thing is that the long trigger pull was reduced 7mm rather than the advertised five. I’ll be putting their barrel...
Several months ago I started with a Merkur 34c. I transitioned my son into that razor and stepped up to the Merkur 39c. Love it and won’t go back. I used Creamo at first but transitioned to a boar brush and Proraso soap. That was a big upgrade from the Cremo with a much closer shave and fewer nicks.
A couple of years ago I ordered a good supply of 124 grain 9 mm bullets from a guy who is competitive shooter and does a lot of casting. I can’t remember the name of his company but seem to remember that he is from Virginia. If this rings a bell and someone can remember his name or website it...
Meru was worth the watch also. I’m trying to find Wings of Steel and get it in the cue. The tenacity that these guys have is over the top. I’m too old to take up climbing but it takes my mind in some other directions. This was good inspiration on a bad day.
I’ve been off work today with fever and crud. I stumbled across this thread and watched Free Solo and Asault on El Capitan. Absolutely amazing. Tommy Caldwell is a 9 1/2 fingered machine. Thanks for bringing these documentaries up.
Patriot and Just browsing, Thanks for the info. Y'all are getting to the heart of what I'm thinking, "Should I just go ahead and spend the marginal difference" and buy a different brand even if used? That's why I'm trying to determine reference points that make sense within my exposure to...
I live in flyover country. My ability to sample scopes is limited to say the least. My first and best option is to search the internet and ask questions on on forums before I spend a good chunk of money on a scope. If you guys want to clutter up threads with pointless posts aimed at each other...
Rather than start a new thread I’ll redirect this thread to allow consolidation of the information. I’ve been reading as many opinion threads on scopes as I can and have been researching in other areas. Thanks darklordofoptics for your efforts to document scope qualities and general information...
