CheyTac Owner Blaine Campbell Falsely Claims to be a Green Beret

“Green Beret”….too funny. Don’t know anyone that served in a SFG that called themselves that. Maybe some did to impress nasty chicks on Bragg Boulevard. Also, SF sniper school was (is) SOTIC. Never been, but wanted to go. Lots of politics.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Army REJECTS Glock 19X, "It's a shitty pistol that is not worth the Army's time and money." - General James C. McConville, Army Chief of Staff

The G19 is the finest combat pistol ever made. I like Sigs, too. I love 1911’s. G19 for the real work.

Spuhr is over rated. Prove me wrong

Spuhr is, and always will be, a compromise. Ring spacing = scope longevity.

    Cooper r22 raptor 6.5 CM?

Good rifles and $1800 is a steal, IMO. Both of the ones I had were sub-MOA with Hornady ammo. Manners stock, decent Cooper barreled action, Triggertech trigger... a lot to like for $1800. Custom performance for a factory rifle price.

Analysis Paralysis on my first Precision Rifle

I’d have have a hard time picking any Bergera over a Tikka. I’ve shot many rounds out of both. If it’s my money, it’s a Tikka CTR. This is as about an easy as a decision as it gets.

    Tikka T3x CTR

I’ve had a few CTR’s and around 8,300 rounds fired through them. The triggers are stupid easy to adjust and pretty damn good, the stock is decent and doesn’t need to be replaced, and all of them have shot 10 round, MOA groups at 100 yards. Customization is easy now and tossing the barreled...

How accurate is accurate? FACTORY AMMO

Hornady has served me well. 100 yards, 5-shot groups, initial rifle zeroing.

Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 - MOAR (CO)

I am selling a NF SHV 3-10X42 with MOAR reticle. This scope is in excellent condition (tiny mark on the tube, no ring or other marks). I’ve shot around 300 rounds with this scope; most of them dialed. Tracking and RTZ has been perfect. Price: $675 shipped ground (CONUS) Payment: MO, bank...

    Seekins Havak accuracy reports

Mine is shooting 1/2 - 3/4 MOA. I’ll take some pics next time I’m confirming zero. I may buy another one as these are about as perfect as you can get for a hunting rifle, IMO.

Tikka CTR vs Superlite (Practice/Volume Gun & Hunting Rifle)

The CTR is easier to shoot and more accurate, IME (~7K rounds if memory serves). The 20” barrel makes the most sense for me.

    20” or 24” Tikka 6.5 CM?

I’ve had four 20” CTR’s. Love them. I use them for primarily for hunting, but I always seem to shoot out the barrels on them (I seem to shoot them more than the others). I’ve been tripping the “used” ones as donors as I’m too lazy to rebarrel them. I like the 20” because it seems handier for...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

I just picked up a Havak PH1 in 6.5 Creedmoor today. Impressions so far are very positive. Fit and finish are excellent; it’s well machined. The stock is on par with any McMillan or Manners I’ve owned. It’s also very light....much lighter and better balanced in hand than I expected. The...

    Break in/cleaning

My barrel break-in procedure is pretty simple...I shoot it until the barrel needs to be replaced. My cleaning procedure is equally as simple...I only clean when accuracy drops off or when I get mud or debris in the barrel. I do grease lugs occasionally and make sure extractors are free of...

Rifle Scopes VX6, or what else?

Yep. And it’s not even close if dialing shots, IME. Especially if reliability and tracking are important to you. I’ve shot thousands of rounds using both. Swaro customer service was pleasant to work with, though. Caveat: “Glass” is pretty far down my list of requirements for my aiming...

    Accurate Ordnance

Quick range report: I had some Hornady ELD-X 143gr at the house and headed to the range for a quick zero. I may stick with this ammo. :) 1st pic is a 5-shot group that’s .1 mil to high at 100 yards. The 2nd pic is the next 5-shot group with a .1 mil down adjustment. I’ll reconfirm zero and...

    Accurate Ordnance

I picked up my TMR yesterday and my first impression was the incredible fit and finish. Every aspect of the rifle appears perfect. As for working with Mark...this purchase was arguably the best customer service experience I’ve had in recent memory. It became very obvious how much pride he has...
