Looking to upgrade my rem 700. And I'm not sure which way to go. This gun is used for target shooting to hunting. I can get a good detachable mag system for around $300 for my bells and carlson stock. Or I was looking at either the mcree folding system or the krg whiskey 3 chassis. Weight is...
I have a 6.8 upper that I never shoot but do take it hog hunts every now and then. Keep it or trade for a cheaper to shoot 20" barreled 1/8 twist .223?
It has never worked right from the day I got it and now with the B&C stock on I shoot it more and I get tired of haveing to just drop a round in then close the bolt. I would like to load 3 rounds in and go but if I do after the 1st round it just jams or wont pic up the next round. Any idea...
I have a medalist stock on my 700 I love it the only issue I have it the grip is just to big to get a good hand hold on it. I wanted to see if any one has done any mods to this stock and what could be done to make it fit my hand better?
I have a remington 700 .308 with a Bell & Carlson Tactical Medalist A2 stock with a nikon scope and standard leopold rings and mount. I have a heck of a time getting low enough to see through the scope what height rings can I go with. I do have a 20moa base on order.

I am getting a new barrel put on my .308 and haveing it cut down to 18in. I have a muzzle brake on the 24in barrel its nice to have because the rifle doesn't kick at all but the noise is what kills me. would It be worth the extra 50 to 100 bucks to have new barrel threaded for the brake or are...
I have a newer rem 700 It has about 30 rounds down the tube. My question is with the bold ever lossen up its easy to close with out a round in the camber. but when you chamber a round you have to put some presure on the bolt handle to close it. Or are the all that way?
What would be more accurate in the bull barrel. A 16inch or 18inch or would I even notice a differance between the two? And what would be better 1/8 twist or 1/9

I just bought a factory take off barrel to replace my sporter barrel my rifle came with. Can I do the job my self or would it be better just to take it to a gunsmith?
Im looking at buying a varmit style stock so the barrel will be a little small for the barrle groove what can I do to fill it in and make it look better.
Choate Ultimate Varmint Stock or the Houge overmolded. I'm wanting a new stock for my remington 700 sps. I'm not wanting to spend a whole lot of money This rifle is only used for hunting and some target practice. I can get both stocks for under $200. Just wanted some ideas. Thanks for the...
