    I agree with montanamarine and glb. I think the 3.5x-15x is all I need. Target is a 36" X 36" and 18" X 24", I believe this will replace my 4-16X42 Sightron and I will use my Sightron for 300 yds on my 22 lr. Appreciate the Info guys.

    As a teaching rifle in my opinion it is best to teach with a bolt action rifle, children lack self control like us adults when we are having fun and blow everything up in sight.

    Maggie’s Whats the absolute worst conditions you'll go shooting?

    After 21 years in the Army and 5 conflicts around the world, the worst condition I will shoot is nothing below 70 degrees or above 80 degrees, winds between 0 to 4 miles an hour, just my choice now. Call me a wimp.
