Re: 2nd HardRock Match of 2012 Hey guys, been out of the loop for awhile. I went through 2 job changes in 1 1\2 years and no extra money coming in, but I never stopped shooting. My brother and I will be there at the 2nd HR Match. Can't wait been praying to get back.

Recently purchased a buddy's Savage 308 FCP and have been working on some loads and noticed marks on the bullets. Not from the bullet touching the rifling but a half moon on the bottom of the bullet. I'm using 175 smk. I have been work up loads for awhile and can't get group smaller than 1-1/4"...

I'm looking to build a 416 caliber bolt rifle and I need some names of highly precise,respectable and accurate actions.

In my area H4831 is becoming harder to find, but everybody seems to have H4831SC availiable. I have a 308 norma mag that loves H4831. But everybody tells me the two powders are the same. Can anyone give me rock hard evidence of this. I have a match this weekend and I don't need any surprises.

Re: bullet drifting right at 500 + yards, Sorry, If I wasn't to the point. My barrel wouldn't keep the heavier bullets stable past 600yds. So I dropped weight. I have no idea why they wouldn't keep stable, I've 1:10 twist in 24". Maybe has something to do with the chrome-moly barrel, I...

Re: bullet drifting right at 500 + yards, Hi, Haven't been shooting very long, but shot in a match or two at hardrock. Shooting Savage 10fcp and was shooting 168Amax and from 600yds to 800yds bullet would drift 8" to the right consistently. Talked to Lonnie Hummell at Hornady and he stated...
