A buddy of mine lives in Iowa and is looking to build a semi 308 using a DPMS upper and lower combo. Any advice on a gunsmith for the build would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: 416 Barrett vs 408 CheyTac Unless things have changed Lawton Machine makes the M310 barreled actions and the barrels for the M200 for CHEYTAC.

Re: Chey-Tac vs EDM Arms -- what is the truth here If memory is correct, Becker Machine for the M200 receiver & bolt, bipod(possibly other parts). Lawton Machine for the M200 barrels, M310 actions and barrels. I believe Lawton does their smaller claibers also.

Re: Carbon fiber wraps on suppressors Yes a company in Oregon made or makes a CF rifle suppressor.. The one I had the opportunity to see was a .408 version. Very light weight. Recoil and flash suppression were very good as was sound signature down range. Suppressor cooled down remarkably...
