    Overgassed solutions

    Ok, real simple fix for an overgassed system...try moving the gas block up a bit. Its works two fold by obsuring the gas port a bit and lets in a little more gas to the carrier key area before cycling the action.

    I would look to a 1x or 2x prism optic. Sure, you will lose some battery life and eye relief, but the optic will always present a reticle, on or off. Furthermore, your astigmatism will be a none issue so you aiming point will be more precise for longer shots.

    Anyone have some data for H414 and the 6CM, bullets from 105- to 108 grains? Sitting on 8 pounds of it. Pretty sure the burn rate was similar to H4350 and IMR4350 but all the new burn rate charts I have found exclude H414.
