Good job Jerseymike! My take on this thread.... there are those who grow and learn.... and others who chose to remain in kindergarten in their diapers!
Thx for the info KNOWN. Trying to get answers from AI is like pulling teeth.....something about having to know the handshake and secret kiss before any unrepeatable knowledge is dispensed! HA
IMO with this issue they have jumped the shark.... or the Gucci sharkskin handbag ! Articles = ads. Little to none on the 'how -to'....self admitted in the land nav article...sell sell sell. Oh well . Had to happen to make it profitable , as others have pointed out. At least the Lamb article...
Hope yours works when you get it! I gave up on their CS....doesn't seem to be in their vocabulary. Fixed it myself.... and no , it is no better accy. than my GAP10....but also like George's CS that too would be hard to beat ! I do hear that if you sign a non-disclosure agreement.....nevermind...
19.5 " Kreiger (close enough?).... I get 2800-2850 with 155 Scenars and 2950-2970 with some 130's that a buddy made for me years ago. YMMV wes in AZ still in need of a Rem 700 SA RH .473 face Bolt....long story.....
Found the IMR data for a 150 SIE SP in 300 win mag using Trailboss 3.340 oal 18gr = 1302 fps 25.5 = 1687 fps ...still looking for info /data/real experience with the 208's or other heavies but at least this is a start point.
Wasn't able to pull up anything using the search. Anyone out there work up a good subsonic 300 win mag load? Going to be trying with some 208's and Trailboss for a start. thx
Figured out the 280 and especially the 280 AI was the way to go many years ago. Finally got around to building one up a few years back. I wish I had done it sooner ! Worked up some great 140 loads for antelope and the 162-175"s for the real ranges (will have to look them up). Haven't had it...
Don't know .... but it sounds like something "Elfster" could get into for another epic thread with 2-300 pics.... an attendant poll.... and a designed experiment to check out every possible variable ! sorry...couldn't resist The powder should just blow out .
