Re: AI AW 338 lap mag I think it's a great deal even if its a factory configuration and accessories. For a new AW barrel it is a great price. If it has a 2.0 stock, case and extra mag I think it's a steal.

Re: Quick Disconnect Mount for Smaller Objective Scope I believe Larue makes a mount like the LT111 but is 1.375" high instead of 1.5". There is also Spuhr mounts and they make one with a 1.18" height.

Re: What Horus reticle for S&B? H59. I have used it in a shoot and it is great. It is super easy to use and not super busy. I was able to use it at 10x power. I own a 5-25 S&B with that reticle.

Re: .338 Lapua build, action choice input sought Get the surgeon because if the integrated recoil lug. It is much thicker than a standard recoil lug. Personally I have an AX338 and wouldn't use any other action. But since you have parts for the build Surgeon would be a great action to use.
