Re: The body die Good going Chris. Well yesterday I had the chance to work with the new 'S' die. I used a fired case that was very hard to extract from my chamber and used it to set up the new die. Bumped the shldr. back 1 thou. and loaded 6 rounds. Took a ride to the range, and fired them...

    The body die

Re: The body die Hi, I have brought my die down to where it is more than just touching the shell holder and it still will not size the base of the case as much as I need it to. As far as bumping the shldr. back, I was able to bump it back 1 thou. I called Redding and talked to a tech. and he...

    The body die

Re: The body die The other FL die is of the same brand. Redding. I did measure the base of the fired case first. After sizeing with the FL case, it measures a little over 1 thou. more than the body die. All measurents of the case were taken first before I ever started to size. The only...

The cal. is 223 Rem, the brass is Lapua, and I use the Redding Comp. neck size die set. So I used the body die to bump the shldr. back. Loaded a dummy round in...

At the 100 yds. that I was shooting it at,the black target which is 4" in dia. with a 3/4" orange dot in the middle was not clear and I could not clear it up by useing the parallex knob. Now I have other scopes that are of...
